Upcoming Opportunities for Suppliers

Over the course of the next twelve months the National Procurement Service intend to go to tender for goods and / or services under the headings below. This is for information purposes only and all dates are indicative. Tenders will appear on the eTenders website www.etenders.gov.ie.

Notice Categories

Fuels

The NPS are in the process of researching the demand and supply markets for bulk liquid Fuels, Liquid Petroleum Gas and solid fuels. The following fuels are included;

  • Unleaded Petrol
  • Diesel
  • Marked Gas Oil
  • Kerosene
  • Bio-Fuels
  • LPG
  • Solid Fuels

On completion of this research, competition documents will be drawn up to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of Fuels. It is planned that the contract will be available for use in Q2 of 2013. Janitorial Supplies for the Public Service

The National Procurement Service (NPS) contract for Janitorial Supplies, currently with James Boylan Safety Ltd., will expire on 30th November, 2013.

The NPS are currently working on a new procurement process and intend to go to the market for a new contract in the third quarter of 2013. The contract will be available to various Government Departments, Offices, Agencies, Local Authorities, the Health & Education sectors and other non-commercial public sector bodies across the state.

Research has commenced on the demand and supply markets with a view to ensuring that the contract meets the needs of clients in terms of price, quality, product range and service. The NPS welcomes any suggestions in relation to this contract and are available to meet by request.

The Request for Tenders will be published on www.etenders.gov.ie and in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). Suppliers who have not already done so, should register on the eTenders website and set up email alerts under the relevant category of supply. Stationery & Office Supplies

The National Procurement Service (NPS) contract for Stationery and Office Supplies with Codex Office Products will expire on 30th September 2013.

The NPS intends going to the market for a new contract for the supply of Stationery and Office Supplies to various Government Departments, Offices, Agencies, Local Authorities, the Health and Education Sectors and other non-commercial public sector bodies across the State in the third quarter of 2012.  The contract will exclude photocopying paper and ICT consumables for which separate contracts are in place

The NPS is currently reviewing the existing contract. It has commenced researching the demand and supply markets with a view to ensuring that the contract meets clients needs in terms of price, quality, product range and service. The NPS welcomes any suggestions as to how it can further enhance the current contract and is available to meet on request.

The Request for Tender will be published on www.eTenders.gov.ie and the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). Suppliers who are not already registered should register on the eTenders website.

Update:

Further to our notice regarding the NPS contracts for the Supply of Stationery and Office Supplies, the NPS aims to conclude its research for the new contract by end of September 2012.
